JOSC Devices started as a personal project between two Lighting Designers and has grown from there. Building and designing these products is a fun side project for the creators, but we both work full time as lighting designers and build these during our off time while also trying to maintain some work/life balance. We are happy to share these products with the ETC community.

What exactly is the logo?
The logo is an upside down laundry basket and was inspired by the first “enclosure” for the prototype years ago that many versions later would become the [at]/2. We realized late on a Friday night we needed something to mount the encoders on for testing, and the best thing we could find at the dollar store across the street was a small kitchen basket that resembled a laundry basket. That laundry basket prototype graced a few tech tables and while we now use 3d printed and laser cut enclosures, the laundry basket case will always have a place in our hearts.
